When I try to create a Café Well account, I’m asked if I was invited. Do I need an invitation, and, if so, how do I get one?

First, check with your program administrator to verify you need an invitation to join. You may have a unique URL that will allow you to register without an invitation.

Example: cafewell.com/code/ACMEEmployer or cafewell.com/code/ACMEHealth

    yes where did we get an invitation and how are so many people asking how to add spouse with no help nor FAQ's to assist. Also I sent requests to cafewell email and no response.

    When I choose Get Started, how do I answer the questions? Does the spouse have an invite? code? employer or family? etc. Please provide more detail on the question, not just get started. I submitted a ticket and that is what I got. Frustrating :(

    1. Be sure you are not currently logged in to CafeWell. 2. Go to: http://www.cafewell.com/code/IBM 3. Select 'Get Started'. You should now see a registration page that you / your spouse would complete. If you do not see the registration page, but instead see a page with three options to select from concerning an invitation, then try a different browser. If you use the generic CafeWell link, you will get the three options - you must use the special link: http://www.cafewell.com/code/IBM

    I had already followed instructions to register my spouse but didn't understand how it linked back to me. Now I see we should have registered using http://www.cafewell.com/code/IBM; however, her email and pw are now used and I can't get her registered for IBM. How can I get her existing CafeWell signon to link to the IBM CafeWell (and my incentives)???

    I'm having the same problem. I registered myself using the IBM URL and then tried to register my husband. But when it asked me to verify his social security number and birth date it said that eligibility has already been claimed. It appears an account has been set up for him but it's not linking to the IBM content. How can I set up a separate account for each of us so we can earn the IBM program incentives?

    In 2015, as an IBM employee with my own medical coverage, I created a Cafe Well account. In 2016, I am covered under my husband's IBM medical plan as I am no longer an IBM employee. How do I get my existing Cafe Well account profile to indicate that I am a spouse covered under his IBM medical plan? When I complete the IBM program incentives, I want the completion of program activities to be linked to his CafeWell/medical plan so he can satisfy the requirements for the spouse to complete 2 activities.

    Hello I, tried to register my wife as mentioned and used the link: http://www.cafewell.com/code/IBM. It is asking me to verify her SSN and Date of Birth. She just came to US and does not have a SSN. How to I get her account verified and get her started on the incentives? Thank you

    I work for Aetna. I am trying to have my domestic partner register so that he can earn the other half of the incentives, the family half. He made an account through my invitation but neither of us can find a way for him to actually link to my account or earn incentives. No one on Cafewell has responded to messages from either of us. My HR has also been unhelpful.

    I have the same question too how can I change my wife account so she can credit her activity to earn incentive?
    I am very frustrated that this simple question got repeatly asked in this forum. Don't you think this is very important to put a link to guide spouse to select right link? This like left to LA and right to NY. Without sign, people won't know correct way. Unbelieveablem, IBM choose your company to host our Health Inventive program.

    I went into this part of the site for "HELP" and see that everyone asked the same question I have now, repeatedly, since January. All I want to do is get a code so my husband can create an account. Wow - this site is terrible.

    I am one of the other dozens above experiencing the frustration of trying to link an IBM spouse back to the IBM employees account. At least I was able to get my wife registered. BUT the system keeps referring to us as United Healthcare members, which we are not. IBM forced us to Aetna a couple years ago. SO, when we click the button that we are not United members, it wants us to re register and start over. I could do this for days if needed, but it is getting really frustrating. Help!

    Spouses can register by accessing www.cafewell.com/IBM and claim program eligibility by providing the last 4 of the SSN and DOB. Once eligibility is claimed, CafeWell tracks your spouses completions and connects it to the IBM employees. Employees and spouses are tide in the backend and do not require users to link accounts in CafeWell. Please email support@cafewell.com or access the IBM FAQ's to obtain our toll free for phone support assistance. Hope this helps!

    @Lenise, Thank you for the response. However, exactly where do I provide a SSN/DOB, and are you referring to the employee or the spouse SSN?
    Also, you mention the FAQ holds a phone number. I see no reference to "contact", "phone", "support". What is the phone number?
    We completed screen shots of the circular attempts to access, confirm email, Skip Now, verify eligibility, UnitedHealthcare misdirects, Contact -> FAQ, etc, but I am unable to paste them into this forum. So I am also emailing to support@cafewell.com : "I am still having trouble finding the place for my wife to enter her health survey so that CafeWell can track completion for my IBM employee incentive rebate.
    Based upon Lenise response in the CafeWell Community, I attached the problem symptoms which continue....
    Perhaps there is a simple solution, but it is not obvious to me, nor the dozens of others that have complained in the community forums. Please guide me and ensure that in 2016, our accounts remain active so that the employee and spouse do not need to do any activation steps again."
